Week 2: Editing

After I transferred the video to my phone, I used another app to add music that I hold on my phone onto the video. I used a split/razor tool and edited the audio volume individually of each clip. I took the time to add a title to the beginning as well. I had extra clips on my phone that I had trouble putting onto the computer so I added them. While I was editing, I came across the sizing and crop issues of some clips. I cropped all of them so that they fit the sequence. It took me at least an hour and a half to finish. For the title, I wanted to use a font that would add a sci-fi feel to the video. I edited the audio so that it fades in the beginning and fades out at the end.

  What specific elements of the film opening did you like? Was there anything that left you confused? (be specific) What suggestions do you have for changes? I like how they pulled up pics of the text messages that the boy received. Why did the boy just give the girl the phone and walk away? You probably could have included who the girl was. I really liked the texts in the corner of the screen, and I thought this opener was very well shot. The genre and plot was very well communicated. I didnt think that anything was confusing I liked the uploading files screen when the guy was downloading all of the girl's information, but I think it could be even better if you could somehow shoot that on the phone screen and not just as its own clip.
