Master edits with sound

 

 

1. Music: I added music for most of the video because I filmed at a park so I chose a song that          has a calm and upbeat sound which is technically a non-diegetic sound since I filmed it on my      phone before hand. The music sets a playful or mischievous feeling which when you think of a park you think of playful and sneaky kids.

2.  Sound bridge: I used music in the first half then when the video transitioned into the second I used a sound effect to indicate the transition from the picture to real life. The sound makes it seem magical as if I magically appeared at a park.

4.  Non-diegetic: For the second part of my symbolism video I used a sound of kids playing because without it, the video would seem off so with the background noise so when watching the clip it makes you feel like you are really at a park.

          3. Music: I added classical music for the first half of my contrast video and then I left the direct                  sound for the other half. The classical music was used because I was doing work so it is                          supposed to portray a calm and study like atmosphere for my contrast. 

4. Direct sound: The second half of my contrast is direct sound because the music in the background was completely different from the music I used in the first half and that better illustrates the direct opposite from both clips.

          5. Synchronous: I added walking sound effects in my parallelism which were not part of the                   original video and then I added a non-diegetic sound of a crowd. This made the clips better because in the original it was silent and awkward but with the sound it brings it to life. The walking makes it seem like the camera is close enough to hear the sound even though realistically you would not be able to hear the sound from that far.

6. Silent: I kept it silent for the simultaneity because I wanted to keep the different clips and they sounded like different songs it was only a couple of seconds different from each other. I did not want to add music because that would have defeated the purpose of that clip and it would have ended up being a contrast.

7. I kept the sound for my leitmotif  because it already had sound and I chose the Bad Boys song because I was clearly distressed in the video and the song is supposed to represent that plus it is easy for people to notice because when you hear the song it makes you think of one of the movies
